Mad Hatters 2

Had a last minute order for a Mad Hatters themed cake and cupcakes for a client doing a charity function today, lots of bright colours, spots and stripes. Cake was vanilla sponge with creamy vanilla butter icing and cupcakes were double chocolate with crazy coloured vanilla butter cream icing.

The cherry on top..... the cake was auctioned off at the function, fetched a ridiculous price and all proceeds went to the charity concerned. Full details to follow later.... :-)

Mad Hatters Tea

This cake was for my neice's 11thbirthday.  Her theme was Mad Hatters Tea Party.  The cake was vanilla sponge with whipped white chocolate ganache filling amd was covered in sugar paste.  I cheated on the  teapot and used a polystyrene ball instead of sponge!

These traditional vanilla sponge cupcakes were for a Mad Hatters themed tea at a well known hotel.  They were iced with deliciously decadent vanilla buttercream icing and topped with sugar paste decorations.
